Here is another update of the weather and snow of our area with the statistics for the month of January. The average snowfall and percentage of snow cover the past five years. January saw a warmer than usual weather pattern. We reached only 22% of the average January snow fall at 12.2 inches. The month ended at 46% of the average seasonal snow fall at 72.9 inches. We will either have a lower than normal snow fall this winter or we will have an extra long winter.
